Between the late Carrie Fisher’s memorial panel, George Lucas celebrating the 40th anniversary, and the cast and crew giving our first look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi, there has not been a shortage of moments to get fawn over.

And while everyone is gleaning what they can from the loaded trailer that debuted today, some things have yet to be revealed. Not to say the Last Jedi’s panel moderator Josh Gad didn’t tryโ€”he’s been trying to find out Rey’s last name for months now.

But apparently, we will learn a key mystery from the Force Awakens when the new Star Wars movie hits theaters later this year.

While speaking with Good Morning America, The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson said that Rey’s parents will indeed come up in the new movie.

“It’s something that is absolutely going to be addressed in the movie,” Johnson said.

The reporter chided the director, saying “It’ll be addressed but there won’t be clarification?”

“It depends onโ€ฆ I can’t say!” Johnson began. “I was about to say something. You almost got me!”

UP NEXT: Is Luke Skywalker Going To The Dark Side?

They shared a laugh, and he lamented “this is how they get you,” but Johnson reiterated that it will occur.

“There are lots of surprises in this movie,” Johnson added, “and there’s lots of twists and turns. And I really want people to experience those when they see the movie for the first time.”

It seems like we’ll get a good indication, or at least a hint, toward who Rey‘s parents are.

“How we address that and how you feel about that and what happens with that is one of them,” Johnson reiterated.

This just makes us even more jazzed for the Last Jedi! Next thing they’ll tell us that Jar Jar is coming back, or there will be an extended sequence involving the Max Rebo band! WE CANNOT WAIT!
