Live TV events can bring a slew of unforseen possibilities – and plenty of potential mishaps. And for one popular comedian and television personality, a recent mishap resulted in a pretty big fall.

Chris Hardwick, best known to the nerd world for hosting Talking Dead, @midnight, and the Nerdist podcast, was tapped to be the host of NBC’s Red Nose Day special. And during his grand entrance for the special, Hardwick slipped on the stage and fell onto his back, to the surprise of the audience. But, thanks to NBC’s Twitter, the fall has been immortalized in GIF form.

If seeing that fall made you feel uneasy, don’t worry. Hardwick quickly got back on his feet and went on to host the rest of special, as you can see below.

Hardwick and Talking Dead will return alongside The Walking Dead in October of 2017. In the meantime, his spinoff show Talking airs Sundays at 10/9c on AMC.
