Fear the Walking Dead aired the third episode of its third season on Sunday night with the title of Teotwawaki which, according to Jeremiah Otto, translates to “apocalypse.”

In Teotwawki, the group continues to explore the possibilities at Broke Jaw Ranch, constantly wondering whether or not they can trust the Otto family which is charge. In the aftermath of the shocking death of Travis from the Season 3 premiere, the survivors will begin investigating who was shooting at the helicopter and seek appropriate revenge.

Madison’s group will not be the only bunch appearing in the episode, however. Victor Strand was last seen leaving the hotel in a fancy car and will resurface in Teotwawki as his journey continues. However, his plan of reuniting with an old pre-apocalyptic friend is not going to go as planned.

A wholly original companion series to The Walking Dead, the #1 show on television among adults 18-49 for the last five years, “Fear the Walking Dead” explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the eyes of a fractured family. The series is executive produced by Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, David Alpert and showrunner Dave Erickson and produced by AMC Studios.

As is standard with any episode taking place within the Dead universe, the Internet had their way with the episode.

Skeptics

Fans of Walking Dead shows have learned a thing or two about misplaced trust by now. With Fear introducing the Otto family, several fans are a bit hesitant when it comes to trusting the faces at Broke Jaw Ranch.

It’s not just Jeremiah, the leader of the community, the fans don’t trust. It’s the entire place.

Southern Accent

Madison Clark, played by Kim Dickens, has been living in Los Angelesย where she met her now deceased boyfriend Travis and worked as a high school guidance counselor before the world went down.

Some fans caught on to her southern accent tonight, though.

Some suspect her of trying to fit in…

Yes, Marigold Moonbeam, you do detect a southern dialect in Madison’s voice. This is because prior to living in California, Madison grew up in Alabama.

Love for the Bad Boy

Since being introduced, Troy has shown a dark side. In fact, it seems like it is the only side Troy has. The character being portrayed by Daniel Sharman appeared to be the new villain of the series but fans are taking a liking to him, through it all.

Or, maybe, they just like the actor. Many fans are seeing the villainy surrounding Troy and how he might just have a negative impact on the group.

Everyone’s favorite moment, though, seems to be Madison’s bossing of Troy when she subtly demanded he make the bed she found him in.

“Bible Study”

The “Bible Study” session which Alicia tried so hard to dodge ended up being a smoking and drinking sessions with the Broke Jaw Ranch teenagers. Not only did Alicia love it… So did the fans!

While the extracurricular activities aren’t exactly surprising the fans, Jeff’s head in a bird cage might be what’s getting to them.

Dante

Fear the Walking Dead introduced a brand new character on Sunday night by the name of Dante. The character was an old friend of Strand’sย if you went by the character’s account but, according to Dante, never had much love for the con man.

Fans, however, do, and Dante’s actions have seen a mixed reception.

There is almost an “If Strand dies we riot” vibe to Sunday’s episode.
