The Episode 7×07 title and synopsis teased some major event between the two characters, especially for fans of Robert Kirkman’s graphic novels. The episode is titled, “Sing Me A Song,” which already indicated the iconic scene from issue #105 which saw Carl forced to sing a song to the book’s new villain. It all happened after the little Grimes boy rode in the back of a truck to the Sanctuary with the intention of killing Negan. Needless to say, everything is in place for the moments to be realized on televison as Carl was last seen in Episode 7×05 on the first bus to Savior town.
The new preview (at the top of the page) sees what is presumably the aftermath of Carl’s arrival at Negan’s Sanctuary in 7×07. Towards the end of the new clip, Negan is seen smirking at Carl as he removes his eyepatch. Paired with the new photo AMC released on Instagram yesterday, it’s safe to say, “We are definitely going to see Carl’s missing eye on Sunday night.”
The official synopsis for Sing Me A Song reads, “A deeper look at the Sanctuary and the world of the Saviors; members of Alexandria look for supplies.” The episode will run for 90 minutes.
