Following tonight’s midseason finale of The Walking Dead, Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick will have himself a packed couch to recap the show and offer a preview of things to come when it returns in 2017.

Joining Hardwick to discuss Episode 7×08, Hearts Still Beating, will be Daryl Dixon actor Norman Reedus, the writer and creator of The Walking Dead Robert Kirkman, and a surprise cast member. Given the violent expectations for the midseason finale, there’s a good chance the surprise cast member could be one whose character dies in Sunday night’s episode.

Reedus, now best known for his work as Daryl, was a fairly accomplished actor prior to his zombie-apocalypse fame. The actor appeared in the iconic 90’s film Boondock Saints, as well as Blade II and the beloved show Charmed. In The Walking Dead off-seasons, Reedus records his new AMC series Ride with Norman Reedus. Recently, he also appeared in Triple 9 and Vacation.

Kirkman is best known for his work as creator of The Walking Dead but has several comic bok titles to his name, including Invincible, Outcast and Battle Pope.

No guesses just yet on who the third Talking Dead guest will be but if anybody gets a midseason finale sendoff, the safe bet is on them.

The official synopsis for Hearts Still Beating reads, “Negan’s unwelcome visit to Alexandria continues as other members scavenge for supplies; things quickly spin out of control.”

Going along with the expectations, a couple of well known faces are in great danger heading into the finale. With Spencer’s comic book arc set to play out in a gutsy way, one has to wonder if the team at AMC might throw in a curveball for those comic book fans by switching the kill or adding another. That said, Spencer has been lining himself for his iconic death throughout the past few episodes flawlessly.

No characters have died since Negan brought down his bat on the skulls of Glenn and Abraham. Given the blood on Negan’s face in the preview for Episode 7×08, it’s safe to assume he unleashed some sort of hell on an another unlucky Alexandrian. Everyone is hoping against hope that it isn’t Judith — which executive producer Gale Anne Hurd teases being a possibility. But, hey, at least he shaved!

Other storylines which promise to payoff before the show’s hiatus are Daryls escape from the Sanctuary with mysterious and unexpected aid and Michonne’s quest for vengeance as she left Alexandria to hunt Negan.
