WARNING: Spoilers Ahead For The Walking Dead Season Seven!
Videos by ComicBook.com
In the latest episode of The Walking Dead, fans were given the opportunity to catch up with Tara and Heath, two characters who had been gone since the end of season six.
Before Rick and the others went after Negan, Heath and Tara went on a supply run. They have no idea about who Negan has killed, or that he was even still alive. Remember, they left Alexandria thinking Negan had been killed at the satellite station.
The two characters haven’t found anything so far, and they’re getting ready to return home to their people. On the way, they’re overrun with walkers, Heath disappears, and Tara ends up meeting a group of survivors at a new community called Oceanside.
The people of Oceanside are made up entirely of women and children, as Negan killed all of their men, and boys over the age of 10.
The talked about scene from this episode comes near the end, as Beatrice explains to Tara what Negan did to them. She also lets her know that they didn’t kill the villain, and the satellite massacre was only fuel added to Negan’s fire.
Beatrice tells Tara that Rick and the others have unlseashed the wrath of Negan, and they can’t let Tara escape because she will bring that heat back to Oceanside.
This was one of the more emotional scenes of the entire episode, and it let fans in on how truly evil Negan can be. Sure, he can kill beloved characters and laugh about it, but no one thought he could execute a bunch of children.
