Fear The Walking Dead aired this week and introduced us to a new community of survivors in Tijuana, Mexico. We got a great look at Nick's interactions with new characters Luciana and Alejandro, as well as a chance to catch up with Madison, Strand, Alicia, and Ofelia.

There were a couple of big moments in this episode, but the most talked about is definitely the sacrifice at the bus that occurred toward the beginning of the episode. As Nick was exploring his new home, he came upon a crying child overlooking a crowd of people. The members of the community were taking part in a ritual where they sacrifice one of their own if that individual has gotten infected. Instead of a shot to the head, the infected person enters a gated area of walkers. The idea is that they will join the ranks of the undead, and continue to protect their brothers and sisters in the community.

This was definitely one of the most intense scenes of the last few episodes, and it gives us a great idea as to what this new community is all about. They take their relationships seriously, and they are not the kind to waste anything; not even in death.

These ideals give Nick a lot to think about, especially since he's still reeling from the effects of Celia's teachings.
