The Walking Dead fans wishing to see “Caryl” happen need to be more careful. One fan rooting so hard for the team to get together has literally put the the Daryl and Carol characters together in a new set of images.

A batch of photos titled, “Walking Dead Freaks,” from graphic artist Jimmy Postier was released online, showcasing what some characters might look like if they were mashed into one. Among those characters is a Rick Grimes with half of a face looking like a zombie, a product of Carol and Daryl mashed together, and a Lori and Carl combination.

In the end, these photo mash-ups are the stuff nightmares are made of and make us glad Sarah Wayne Callies and Chandler Riggs are two separate people rather than one horrendous human creature. Not to mention, the Hershel/Beth spawn is enough to haunt any of us.

Check out some of these creations below…

Zombie Rick

As writer and creator of The Walking Dead Robert Kirkman has promised, Rick Grimes will die before the series concludes. Whether or not he spends any time as a walker is to be seen, though.ย

The first photo sees Andrew Lincoln’s character deteriorating into a zombie and is, actually, the least creepy of all the images created by Postier. It does, however, debunk Lincoln’s hilarious theory for the series’ ending which claims his character is immune to The Walking Dead‘s zombie virus.ย

“I patch myself up, I don’t die,” Lincoln said. “The final shot is, “Holy s—! Maybe I’m the cure!’ High shot, the whole thing… High shot, herd of zombies coming: Rick gets up, follows the tracks to go see ‘Coral,’ walking, the herd comes towards him, and they separate. He walks through. Boom!”

Opposite on the age scale and having very little in common anyway, the pairing of Carl and Hershel is quite terrifying. Is it wrong to point out the mash-up looks a bit like Hershel’s daughter Beth, though? Probably.

Some of Hershel’s best qualities emerge in this mash up, seeing his white hair and eyebrows at the forefront, while Carl’s traits age the charcter combination down. Of course, this thing is wearing Carl’s iconic t-shirt from The Walking Dead comics which was seen early on in the AMC series.ย

T-Dog Nixon

T-Dog Nixon

T-Dog wouldn’t survive the first season of The Walking Dead but he is always in our hearts. Daryl Dixon is still thriving on the AMC series. Put these two characters together and you get T-Dog Nixon.

Unfortunately, you can’t un-see the combination of the two The Walking Dead characters.

The character adopts the facial structure of T-Dog, while keeping Daryl’s hair and eyes. The costume is also a combination of the two, with Daryl’s dark jacket housing T-Dog’s worn down button shirt.ย

Lo-rle

If there is one combination that should have never been thought of, it is Lori Grimes and Merle Dixon. Neither character would survive past the Governor’s time on The Walking Dead but Merle’s short mustache on Lori’s facial structure is enough to ruin Sarah Wayne Callies.ย

Michael Rooker’s Merle’s eyes and facial structure really do not lend themselves to a combination with Calliesย but this haunting creation combining the two actors into Lori’s costume and hairstyle is still something which exists… Lo-rleย should never happen in anyone’s mind.

Mag-Len

Perhaps the prettiest combination of all, by default, is the Mag-Len. Maggie and Glenn Rhee are combined into one face with Glenn’s eyes and mustache dominating the facial structure and Maggie’s body and costume filling out the rest.

It’s actually a little hard to tell which character’s hair is attached to the mash-up, though.

Car-yl

Mashing Carol and Daryl together is enough to ruin the fans hoping to see a relationship blossom between the two. Caryl might be ruined forever after this.

Melissa McBride’s smaller facial structure becomes even bonier when Norman Reedus is mixed into it. Not to mention, his mustache and little patch of hair on the chin only makes this combination harder to stomach.ย

Somehow, though, this looks like the most innocent creature created out of the entire line up from Postier.ย

All Of ‘Em

Somehow, throwingย Lori, Glenn, Rick, Carol, Hershel, Andrea, the Governor, Merle, and Carl into one character, the outcome looks a bit like Luke Skywalker at the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.ย

As noted by the photo, the characters from The Walking Dead’sย third season each lent a specific part of their faces to this photo. Lori’s hair, Glenn’s eyes, Rick’s body, Carol’s forehead, Hershel’s beard, Andrea’s cheeks, the Governor’s mouth, Daryl’s eyebrows, Merle’s head, and Carl’s nose came together to ensure you have a nightmare about Postier’sย clever creations.ย
