The title and synopsis for episode 7x01, better known as the Season 7 premiere, of The Walking Dead have been revealed.

Hardcore fans of the series who have watched from the show's first season recognize the title as a callback to the finale which aired back in 2010. It is called, "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be."

In the Season 1 finale, Dr. Edwin Jenner's true colors were revealed. He was a scientist at the Center for Disease Control who appeared to be very welcoming. He brought Rick's group into the building, offered them wine, food, and hot showers. For a moment, there was a glimmer of hope.

However, much like the glimmers of hope seen in Alexandria as Rick and the group try to rebuild civilization, it all came crashing down in an instant. Dr. Jenner knew that the generators at the CDC would be running out and opted to destroy the building and go down with it...and he didn't want to go out on his own.

Rick, Daryl, Lori, Shane, and the others were not ready to clock out, just yet. Several members of the group tried to find an escape route but the CDC was heavily fortified to keep the dangerous chemicals and germs inside. The group's life was in Dr. Jenner's hands.

After several moments of Rick pleading with Jenner, begging for a chance to fight for his life outside of the CDC, Jenner opted to free them. Rick consequently told Jenner, "I'm grateful." Jenner's ominous response has now earned the titular position for the most anticipated episode of the entire season in the Season 7 premiere.

"The day will come when you won't be," Jenner told Rick.

Of course, he also went on to tell Rick about the living being infected, as well.

The episode was called TS-19 and was the sixth of the entire series. It originally aired on December 5, 2010. Back in those days, the biggest issues were finding a place to call home, the differences between Rick and Shane, and what ever happened to Merle Dixon after being left on the rooftop. Safe to say, stuff and things have escalated a littie bit.

The Walking Dead returns for its seventh season on October 23 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC. For complete coverage and insider info all season long, follow @BrandonDavisBD on Twitter.
