Superheroes are great. They frequently have incredible powers that they use to protect the population, standing up to dangerous threats and saving the day, usually with very little in terms of outside help or simply relying on their own skills and abilities. However, when it comes to The CWโs Arrowverse, the live action adaptations of various DC Comics heroes, heroes like Green Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and more not only got support from their allies, but they also got cool weapons as well โ and sometimes, had terrifying weapons used against them.

Weapons in a superhero world make things interesting. They give the heroes unexpected challenges, challenges that sometimes provide season-long stories as they work to disarm villains. They also give the heroes important advantages when facing dangerously powered foes and while there are no shortage of incredible weapons in the Arrowverse, there are a few that stand out as the most powerful โ including one that is pretty much a Swiss army knife of cool.
5) Arrows (Arrow)

Probably the most consistently used weapon in the entire Arrowverse and specifically on Arrow itself are arrows. Their frequency of use alone makes them powerful โ not only does Oliver Queen/Green Arrow use the weapons, but so does various other characters, including Malcolm Merlyn and Roy Harper. Theyโre effective, efficient, and plentiful. However, while arrows generally may seem like a very basic weapon, Oliver Queen has more than just your everyday arrow in his quiver. Over the entire Arrowverse run, we see him use various trick arrows including a nanite arrow, a magnetic arrow, and even the iconic boxing glove arrow. The most powerful arrow used in the Arrowverse, however, might by the Kryptonite arrow created as a just in case an evil Supergirl ever showed up.
4) Totems of Zambesi (Legends of Tomorrow)

There is nothing quite like a magical object and when it comes to Legends of Tomorrow, there are six of them. The Totems of Zambesi are six magical totems created by the gods for the tribes of Zambesi, with each totem representing a different elemental power that the user can control. The most commonly used totems in Legends were the Spirit totem (used by Amaya Jiwe) and the Air totem (used by both Zari and Behrad Tarazi). While each totem alone is powerful, when used together they have the ability to stop demons โ which is something that the Legends pull off when they use them to summon a giant Beebo doll and kill the demon Mallus.
3) Khushu Idol (Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow)

When we said there is nothing quite like a magical object, we meant it and the Arrowverse has several โ including the Khushu Idol. A rare mystical object created by the Homo Magi, the Khushu Idol allows its user to tap into dark magic. However, the ability to harness physical and psychic abilities through the idol comes at a cost, as it works only by killing and pulling strength from the deaths of those around them as well as fear and negativity. A terrifying object, it corrupts its user both mentally and morally prompting its user to have to go to great lengths to develop an immunity. It was used by Damien Darhk in the Arrowverse, something that did not go well for the heroes.
2) Spear of Destiny (Legends of Tomorrow)

The Spear of Destiny holds an interesting spot in the Arrowverse because itโs less a magical object and more a biblical artifact. Also referred to as the Holy Lance, the Spear of Destiny was believed to have pierced the side of Jesus Christ after his death on the cross which resulted in it gaining supernatural powers. Among those powers? There are a few, but the big one is that it can rewrite reality itself which is exactly what the Legion of Doom used it for.
1) Speed Force Bazooka (The Flash)

While there are a lot of very powerful weapons that appeared on The Flash, none of them are as powerful or as cool as the Speed Force Bazooka. The Speed Force Bazooka was a custom weapon developed to trap the speedster villain Savitar in the Speed Force, but it actually ends up being much more of a multi-tool. When Savitar stole the device, he forced Cisco to repurpose it into an interdimensional quantum splicer that, thanks to Cisco making some sneaky tweaks, ended up actually working as a Speed Force skeleton key that allowed the heroes to free an imprisoned Jay Garrick. It was also later modified to be an โembiggening bazookaโ. It sounds complicated (most of the โscienceโ on The Flash is complicated) but given the versatility of the weapon and the fact that it taps into the Speed Force, this one is easily the most powerful weapon in the entire Arrowverse and weโre just glad it belonged to the good guys.
