I say “announced” but “gleaned” might be a more appropriate word. According to Blu-ray.com, Lionsgate Home Entertainment and Starz have, in fact, announced that American Gods: The Complete Season One will be available for purchase on October 17. Beyond that, the only detail is that the Blu-ray will contain “over 2 hours of supplemental features”.

However, Amazon UK already has the American Gods Blu-ray/DVD releases in stock, which lists the following as bonus features:

In addition to the standard American Gods Blu-ray release, it appears that a Steelbook edition exists. I’m not seeing a 4K option or a digital code here, which is a bit of a letdown. However, the U.S. release could be different than the UK version -we’ll have to wait and see.
