Titan Comics is taking the TARDIS to Comic-Con International: San Diego 2017.

Titan has revealed to ComicBook.com that they will release a Doctor Who CConventionSpecial comic book titled The Last Action Figure at the events. The special issue will feature a new adventure with the Doctor, in Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor incarnation, and companion Bill Potts, played on the television series by Pearl Mackie. The Last Action Figure is written by Richard Dinnick, with art by Mariano Laclaustra, Carlos Cabrera and Nico Selma. The Doctor Who Convention Special will have two collectable covers by Alice X. Zhang. One cover features the Twelfth Doctor while the other shows Bill Potts.
Fans attending 2017’s San Diego Comic-Con can purchase the Doctor Who Convention Special and other Doctor Who comics and collections at the Titan Comics booth #5537.
Titan Comics’s will also present the Doctor Who & Torchwood Comics Panel with writers Nick Abadzis, Richard Dinnick, George Mann, Brian Miller, Cavan Scott, and Doctor Who editor Andrew James. There they will reveal upcoming plans for the Doctor Who and Torchwood comics and offer a behind-the-scenes look at exclusive art previews from the upcoming books. The panel takes place on Saturday, July 22 at 3:30 pm in room 5AB and every attendee will receive five free comic books.
The Doctor Who comics creators will also be signing Titan’s booth, #5537, throughout the weekend. Fans can meet Nick Abadzis, Paul Cornell, George Mann, Cavan Scott and Alice X. Zhang.
