On Twitter today various members of the Riverdale cast shared these new looks at their characters, each one of them in black and white and, in keeping with the murder mystery developing on The CW series, each character is looking through what appears to be a broken window leading fans to ask could they possibly be the next victim?
Last season on Riverdale a masked gunman came into Pop’s and shot Archie’s dad, Fred Andrews. While Fred survived, the mysterious Black Hood’s next victim wasn’t so fortunate. Miss Grundy, Archie’s former lover and teacher, died at the killer’s hands last week leaving Archie to wonder if the killer is targeting those he loves.
Check out the new character posters for Riverdale below!
Kevin Keller (Casey Cott)
One of Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge’s closest friends, Kevin is part of Archie’s circle. That, in addition to being the sheriff’s son would make him a tempting target if the Black Hood really is targeting Archie.

Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse)
Jughead may be Archie’s best friend, but he’s also got his own mysteries and challenges this season. His father, F.P. Jones is facing a serious prison sentence in connection to Jason Blossom’s murder but more than that, Jughead is finding himself drawn deeper and deeper into the world of the South Side Serpents. His involvement with his father’s gang also threatens to complicate his relationship with his girlfriend, Betty.

Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart)
Archie’s best friend. Jughead’s girlfriend. Betty Cooper is in the thick of the mysteries in Riverdale but the darkness doesn’t just surround her. The girl next door has a dark side, one that comes out whenever she needs to protect those she loves.

Hermione Lodge (Marisol Nichols)
She may have had a more than professional interest in Fred Andrews, but now that her husband is out of prison Veronica’s mom is firmly back Hiram’s side. But what she and her husband are up to remains to be seen, though one person that she’s not fooling? Her daughter.

Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos)
Hiram Lodge has done his time and now he’s making Riverdale home, teaming up with his wife and trying to get his family back to where they were before he ended up in prison. But old habits die hard and even just two episodes into the second season, it’s clear Hiram Lodge is up to something — and his daughter Veronica certainly doesn’t trust him.

Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes)
Veronica is in a tough place in the second season of Riverdale. As Archie’s girlfriend she has a vested interest in the mystery of who shot Fred Andrews while also having the burden of believing that her father, with whom she was once very close, could be behind it. But if the Black Hood is targeting those closest to Archie, Veronica herself could be in the crosshairs.

Alice Cooper (Mädchen Amick)
Betty’s mom didn’t reveal all of her secrets last season. Mama Cooper is fiercely protective of her daughter and distrustful of all her daughter’s friends. And as owner of the Riverdale newspaper she’s also determined to get her story, but that doesn’t mean she can’t be shocked. The son she gave up for adoption as a teen is set to appear on Riverdale this season.
