To promote the upcoming release of his raunchy theatrical reboot of Baywatch, and because he seems to have such a ball showing off his comedic side, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson hosted last night’s season finale of Saturday Night Live — which was his fifth time hosting the sketch comedy program.

One of the better sketches of the night involved Johnson playing Scorpio, a once-ordinary man (named Steve) that recently chose to become a superhero after obtaining “super-abilities of a scorpion: enhanced strength, deadly grip, a very venomous sting.”

When a villain named Maximilian has the city gripped in fear, Scorpio decides it is time to make his heroic debut, but before doing so, just in case things don’t go so well, he stops off to say goodbye to his friend Linda. At first, she’s shocked to see Steve dressed as a superhero, and instead of focusing on his powers, she can’t stop talking about the design and craftsmanship of his costume — which he remarkably constructed in a day.
