It sounds crazy, but the information is real. Next season, during Supernatural’s 13th season, Scooby-Doo and the gang will be joining Sam & Dean for a crossover episode.
The CW announced the event at its Upfronts presentation Thursday morning. The episode will feature animated versions of Supernatural’s main characters, solving a mystery with Scooby, Shaggy, Daphne, Freddy, and Velma.
At this point, there hasn’t been any info as to when the episode will air, or what crime the team will be aiming to solve.

Supernatural was renewed for its 13th season way back in January, much earlier than the renewal announcements of CW’s other shows.
CW President Mark Pedowitz had the following statement regarding the renewal:
“Over the past several seasons, The CW has built a schedule of proven performers, from our lineup of DC superheroes, to critically acclaimed comedies, to sci-fi dramas,” said Pedowitz. “Early pickups of these seven series now allow our producers to plan ahead for next season, and gives us a solid base to build on for next season, with original scripted series to roll out all year long.”
