Movies And TV Shows That Would Make For Terrible Westworld Parks

In 2016, audiences were introduced to the futuristic land of Westworld, the theme park that brings the Wild West to life. Westworld is filled with hosts – androids who look, think, and act like real people – and the guests are able to live without any real regulations.

At the end of the first season, the show teased that another park – Samurai World – also existed.

Both of those would be a blast to visit, as you could explore settings that you’d only seen before on a screen.

However, there are plenty of films and TV shows that wouldn’t be nearly as fun to explore.

In fact, some fictional worlds would be downright terrifying to jump into. Here are a few potential theme parks that you couldn’t pay us enough to dive into.

The Walking Dead

How awful would it be to get thrown into a world full of the undead, with no possible way to provide a cure?

This world would provide the challenge of survival around every single corner, which sounds kind of fun, but these are the deadliest kind of challenges.

Sure, the hosts aren’t supposed to actually harm anyone, but that didn’t exactly work out for Westworld, did it?

The Shallows

Think about being stranded, alone, on in the middle of the ocean. That’s terrifying enough as it is.

Now, add a blood-thirsty shark to the mix. That’s a big, whopping, NOPE.

Every move you make would have to be chosen carefully, and you’d have to fight your way through your fears if you wanted to get back out of the park.

LOST

Shadow monsters, giant polar bears, and underground bunkers would all make for a terrible vacation experience. Sure, the island is nice, but it’s constantly changing the rules of how you can exist within it.

In Westworld, you had to watch out for other people. If Lost was a theme park, you’d have to guard yourself from the location itself.

Aside from all that, wouldn’t it suck to get home from vacation, only to realize you were dead the whole time?

Ailen/Predator

You could live on a planet where a horde of aliens try to bury their young inside your chest, or get chased through the jungle by a true apex predator. 

Neither one of these ideas sounds like fun.

Even worse though, is the thought of a world where both of these creatures existed. Their Vs. movies weren’t all that great, but the thought of being thrown in with them is almost too much to handle.
