Breaking: Samoa Joe Wins NXT Championship
04/21/2016 10:37 pm EDT
It was only a matter of time before Samoa Joe struck gold.
At an NXT house show, Samoa Joe dethroned Finn Balor as NXT Champion. As it was a house show and not a TV taping, the exact details are unknown at the time. Balor, coming off the longest reign as NXT Champion will more than likely be jumping over the main roster in the coming weeks. Rumors are speculating that he will reunite with Luke Gallows and Doc Anderson in some fashion.
This is Joe's first title under the WWE umbrella. He is already a former TNA World Champion as well as ROH World Champion (and holding it at a record 21 months) and has had various championships during his independent runs.
The question now is how long before Joe becomes a member of the main roster. What do you readers think?
