Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has had a heck of a couple of years. Nary a month goes by without his name being mentioned in a major franchise announcement, he has a hit TV series, was in worldwide box office hits last year, hosts awards shows, works with every studio from Disney to Warner Bros to Sony to Universal, and is still a huge draw when he stops by his old stomping grounds of the WWE. Named under the "Titans" category of the Time 100 (alongside Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy), director and producer Peter Berg calls Johnson, "Action hero, future president."

When they first worked together, "I was immediately struck by his work ethic. This guy is up every day at 4am and hardly ever goes to sleep. On top of that, he has the kind of open and engaged personality that genuinely makes people feel really good when he's around," Berg writes.

Fast 7 co-star and pal of Johnson's, Ronda Rousey, was also named to the Time 100, somewhat ironically in the year of her first UFC loss. That, however, was something that Tina Fey, who wrote her entry, said showed her strength. The two will co-star in a film titled Do Nothing Bitches, the title being based on a quote from Rousey that Fey says made her fall in love with the fighter/model/actor.

"I watched her tell the hosts of The View, 'Pain is just information.' I learned her mother's mantra, 'You're not training to be the best in the world. You're training to be the best in the world on your worst day.' I delighted in her response to those who couldn't accept a female athlete talking smack: 'Some people like to call me cocky … but I just think, How dare you assume I should think less of myself?'" Fey writes.
