Happy holidays, everyone! This past week on RAW and Smackdown LIVE, we all got to bear witness to Vince McMahon‘s continued War on Christmas! Per usual, Vince sent some of his wrestling minions out to desecrate some of the holiday’s most sacred symbols.

Braun Strowman turning Sin Cara into a Christmas tree ornament is far from the first time Christmas has gotten the shaft in the wrestling world. Santa may have gotten put on Jericho’s list this year, but at least he made it through the week without getting a stone cold stunner or even worse, run over by a car.

We’ve compiled 5 of the most amazing times Christmas met wrestling to get you ready to rumble this holiday season.

5. Good Santa vs Bad Santa

ย

The war onย Christmas continued in a fairly literal way in 2013 when Good Santa took on Bad Santa for um … the fate of Christmas future, I guess.ย Good Santa in this case was played by Mark Henry while Damien Sandow represented all of the evils generally associated with Santa Claus. A world’s strongest slam saved Christmas and this segment from going on any longer than it already did. Good luck trying to fit Mark Henry down a chimney.ย

4. Santa taps out!

I feel safe in saying there’s no better way to generate heel heat than by making Santa AND a US Marine tap outย in front of a group of Marines.ย

That’s exactly what Chris Masters attempted to do in 2006 at the WWE’s Tribute To The Troops. Masters made Santa tap out to the masterlock and nearly took out the serviceman before Santa shed his clothes to reveal an angry JBL.ย

3. Santa Attacks!

Santa wasn’t always the victim of every wrestling attack. In 1985, back in the territory days of wrestling, you’d get the craziest angles known to man. Guys would routinely spill their blood in front of a crowd of what basically amounted toย 30 senior citizens. Billy Jack Haynes & Rip Oliver had been out of Portland for a few months. This was a surprise to everyone because “Santa” had been walking around the arena for over an hour tossing out candy to kids, as you’ll see at the beginning of the clip. Also, as you’ll see, Portland TV cut away before Santa hit the ring as they didn’t want kids at home to see Santa Claus take a tire iron to Billy Jack’s head.

2. Santa got run over by a Del Rio

I don’t even know why Santa bothers showing up to a WWE event. The only person moreย guaranteed to get his ass kicked by a WWE superstar is James Ellsworth. And if getting his ass kicked wasn’t bad enough, Alberto Del Rio ran over Santa with his car in 2012. You say there’s no such thing asย Santa, but as for me and Alberto, we believe.ย

1. The Santa Stunner

Likely the most famous Santa moment in WWE history happened in 1997 when Stone Cold had enough of what was clearly an imposter Santa!ย After not remembering what the 6 year old S.O.B. had wanted for Christmas, Santa’s fate was sealed. Fun fact: the little kid Austin asks to verify Santa’s identity would later grow up to be one half of the Usos.ย
