Ah, Valentine's Day. It's that time of year when everything is about love, and hearts, and chocolates, and making sure you don't forget to express your feelings in a special way on that one day so you don't get yelled at by your significant other.

Us nerds, we like to do things differently, so today ComicBook.com is helping you out, and providing you with some ready-made Valentines featuring your favorite comic book, movie, and TV characters and properties.

Some of these are sappy and romantic, most of them are a bit goofy, but all of them are 100% direct quotes from their respective property. Yes, they really said all of these things. Without further ado, let's start with comic books.

Wonder Woman is here to let you know, sometimes you need to take things slow. Oh, and don't bother lying on your first date, it won't go well...

As you probably know, Batman isn't much of a romantic. This quote is actually said to The Joker, and well, big fans of the two characters probably know what the final line of it is...

If you know me, you know that I have to include Cable or Havok in every list that I possibly can. So here's Cable, who will help you express your readiness.

And finally, one sappy one from the comic book set, featuring Spider-Man, the ultimate comic book sap.

And now to films. We wanted to keep things current, so we went for films that are coming up, instead of ones that had already passed. That made our first one a little difficult, as there haven't been any trailers or dialogue from it yet. So instead, we took a line from what's been said to be inspiration for the film Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, quoting The Dark Knight Returns.

You like talking about yourself in third person. You want them to notice you for more than just your beauty. Thanks, Jurassic World!

When not trying to conquer the world in Avengers: Age of Ultron, this misunderstood robot just wants to share with you!

And as for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, well, read this line in Valentine's Day context and try not to take this dirty from now on when you watch the teaser over and over.

Finally, we have some selections for our TV fans. If you have a certain someone who wants to be your Valentine, and you're not quite into it, Agent Carter and her pal are here to help.

Over on The Flash, Harrison Wells is into some pretty weird stuff, like stealing Speed Force and time travel, and murder. But hey, he has a thought that fits the Fifty Shades of Grey crowd...

People have really enjoyed the romantic aspects over on Arrow, and Ray Palmer, soon to be The Atom, is just a big 'ole softy. Steal his words and win over that lady love.

And finally, from The Walking Dead, we have this beautiful, romantic sentiment from Gareth. Oh wait, this is incredibly creepy.
