As Arrow's last season introduced Echo Kellum's Curtis Holt to Oliver Queen's team, fans were excited to learn that Echo's tenure had expanded into the show's upcoming fifth season. Promoted to a series regular, Curtis promises to round out Oliver's posse following the absence of Willa Holland's Thea and David Ramsey's Diggle. And, now, Arrow's Executive Producer Wendy Mericle is hinting that Curtis will become an integral part of the vigilante's squad.

Speaking with TV Line, Wendy discussed how Curtis' position on the team compares with that of Felicity's and teased the character's impending story arc. She said, "Essentially, if she's software, he's hardware. As he evolves into becoming Mr. Terrific in Season 5, one of the things we're really exploring is differentiating them by having Curtis be more like Cisco on The Flash. We want him to be a bit more hands-on, a little more about building physical tech."

Cisco Ramon, who's played by Carlos Valdes, acts as one of Barry Allen's team members on CW's The Flash. The lovable yet sarcastic genius worked as a mechanical engineer at STAR Labs prior to the particle accelerator explosion with his partner-slash-friend Caitlin Snow. The duo still stands as The Flash's very own 'science bros' as the two friends build tools and research the biology behind metahumans. And, in the show's most recent season, Cisco began exploring his superpowers as he created his own alter-ego Vibe which originated in DC Comics.

Similarly, Curtis Holt's origins are firmly planted in comics as the character debuted in Spectre #54 back in 1997. Curtis, who possessed crazy intelligence and even had won a gold medal at the Olympics, adopted his alter-ego of Mister Terrific. The hero was spurred into creation following the tragic deaths of Curtis' wife and unborn child, and Mister Terrific eventually solidified his powerful reputation when he joined up with the Justice Society of America.

Who knows? Since the Justice Society was referenced in CW's Legends of Tomorrow, perhaps Curtis might eventually see himself crossing shows as he learns more about his unique abilities.

Arrow will return to CW for its fifth season this Fall.
