On Thursday, after Tom Hiddleston received his first-ever Emmy nomination for his portrayal of 'Jonathan Pine' in the crime mini-series The Night Manager, he did a number of interviews to celebrate the special occasion. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Entertainment Weekly squeezed in a few questions about Thor: Ragnarok, which he is currently filming in Australia.

First, he was asked if he was going to spend the day celebrating his Emmy nod with his co-star Chris Hemsworth. "I'm going to sleep for a bit, and then yes, I'm going to go onto set," he answered. "It is actually a fight day tomorrow. I don't think I'm fighting specifically him, however. Spoiler alert! But that's all I will tell you."

However, in an interview with Variety, Hiddleston said he spent the previous day "on set with Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth." So, the fight could be Hulk and Thor teaming up against Loki, though I would prefer to see puny-Banner versus puny-god.

And, even though Hiddleston has spent less than two weeks on the set, he's already having a ball reprising the role of Loki. "It's great. I'm having such a good time," he shared with EW. "Taika Waititi is brilliant, and his vision for his Thor film is so full of wit and humor and drama. He's really been so attentive over the screenplay. I'm so excited. It's a hell of a cast. It's got quite a lineup."

The cast of Thor: Ragnarok features returning stars Chris Hemsworth (Rush) in the title role for the fifth time; Tom Hiddleston (Kong: Skull Island) as Thor's adversarial, adopted brother, Loki; Idris Elba (The Dark Tower) as the Asgardian sentry, Heimdall; and Sir Anthony Hopkins (Silence of the Lambs) again portraying Odin, Ruler of Asgard. Newcomers to the franchise include Cate Blanchett (Cinderella) as the mysterious and powerful new villain Hela, Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park) as the eccentric Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson (Creed) as the classic hero Valkyrie, Karl Urban (Star Trek) as Skurge, and Mark Ruffalo (The Avengers) reprising his role of Bruce Banner/The Hulk.

Thor: Ragnarok, the third installment of Marvel's popular Norse Super Hero, is directed by filmmaker Taika Waititi. Kevin Feige will produce the film, joined by executive producers Louis D'Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Victoria Alonso, Thomas M. Hammel and Stan Lee.

Thor: Ragnarok will be released on November 3, 2017.
