Much about Ben Affleck's upcoming Batman movie remains a mystery, but details are slowly beginning to present themselves. Affleck seemingly revealed the film's working title, and Joe Manganiello was revealed to play the villain, Deathstroke, in the film.
However, Affleck continues to insist that the script and title are a work in progress, and Warner Bros. has yet to officially put a Batman movie on its film release schedule (though these dates seem like good possibilities).
Manganiello may have just given us the first hint about the film's schedule, saying that he begins filming as Deathstroke in the next Batman movie in spring 2017.
Ben Affleck's Batman debuted in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Before Affleck's Batman gets to go solo, he'll appear in Justice League in 2017.
In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa and Ray Fisher. The film recently wrapped production in London and moved production to Iceland.
Justice League opens in theaters on Nov. 17, 2017.
