Arrow Season 5 Episode 5: Human Target Sneak Preview

Next week on Arrow, we'll finally be meeting DC Comics' new live action Human Target, as he heads to Star City to protect Mayor Oliver Queen from a potential assassination attempt.

Although we have seen the Human Target before, once in the early '90s on ABC and again on FOX in 2011, both television shows were cancelled rather quickly.

If you don't know about Human Target, he is a private investigator and bodyguard who has the ability to assumes the identities of clients targeted by assassins and other dangerous criminals.

DC COMICS' CHRISTOPHER CHANCE AKA HUMAN TARGET TEAMS UP WITH OLIVER — When Tobias Church (guest star Chad L. Coleman) captures and tortures one of Oliver's new recruits, Oliver must turn to an old friend, Christopher Chance (guest star Wil Traval) AKA the Human Target, for help.

You may recognize actor Will Traval as Will Simpson (the police officer) from Marvel's superhero drama series Jessica Jones on Netflix. But it seems he has jumped the Marvel ship for at least one episode of DC's Arrow.

Meanwhile, Felicity's (Emily Bett Rickards) worlds collide when Detective Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) joins the ACU.

However, the biggest question is - Who is trying to kill Oliver?

Arrow airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. "Human Target" will debut on November 2.
