Suicide Squad is finally rolling to a close and despite the critical reception, David Ayer's quirky group of villains cruised to an impressive total to conclude its theatrical run.

Suicide Squad ends its theatrical run with $325,076,840 million in domestic box office, against a budget of $175 million, though that doesn't count marketing. Worldwide the film grossed $745,576,840 million and has already spawned a planned Harley Quinn spinoff.

The movie was divisive amongst critics, but still managed to draw in a large audience that just wanted to have some fun with some oddball characters, and Suicide Squad certainly fit that bill.

The film is finally hitting Blu-ray and DVD later this year and will include extra footage of Harley Quinn and The Joker. Jared Leto's take on the clown prince of crime was divisive on its own, but many were upset that almost his entire performance was viewable in the trailers. The extended edition of the film looks to pad some of that.
