The Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition SUV has been officially unveiled by Nissan. At an event in Los Angeles, the new version of Nissan's aptly-named-for-Star-Wars-tie-in vehicle drove out flanked by Stormtroopers, and showed off the features that make it special.

The limited edition is limited to 5,400 vehicles, with 5,000 in the US and 400 in Canada. Being produced in the Nissan plant in Smyrna, TN, they're basing them off the SV build of the 2017 Nissan Rogue, but with several added features. On the interior, you'll be able to blast some John Williams and Michael Giacchino scores on your Bose Audio System. The Star Wars Logo can be seen on your floor mats, your kick plates, and your rear bumper protector, and Rebel Alliance and Empire logos are seen in and out of the car, as well. Interior accent lightning and charcoal cloth interior top off what you'll find inside. On the exterior, LED headlights, a black front grille and front lower finisher, black lower rear finisher, black rear door finisher, black roof rails, and black door handles make the car look even cooler, and the Rogue One badge on the front doors declares your love for Star Wars. It's the first time Star Wars branding has ever appeared on a vehicle, something Nissan is very excited about.

The 2017 Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition comes in Glacier White or Magnetic Black and starts shipping December, 2016 - just in time for you to drive it to go see the movie. You can place your interest in one of the limited edition vehicles on Nissan's official website now. Oh, and just for a little extra fun, it comes with a limited, numbered black Death Trooper helmet prop replica. Just don't wear it while driving.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits US theaters December 16, 2016. Directed by Gareth Edwards, it's the first of the new standalone features from Lucasfilm and Disney, which take place outside the core "Skywalker Saga" of films noted by an Episode number. Rogue One tells the story of the small band of rebels that were tasked with stealing the plans to the first Death Star. The story spins directly off the opening crawl from the original Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. In that crawl, it read: "Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet."
