On Wednesday, Capcom revealed news that infamous Fairy Tail manga creator Hiro Mashima will be teaming up to do work on a new game. Mashima will be working on designing an original weapon for the game Monster Hunter XX, an upcoming Nintendo 3DS game. The first pictures of the epic weapon can be seen in the picture below.

The beautiful giant galaxy sword is named Uranometria, and will be first debuting in the new game. Fun fact, Uranometria is also the name of a spell in the original Fairy Tail series. We can see that the sword has stars sparkling across the blade and the scabbard is a giant ancient key. This could give some hints into what its power and special moves might be in the game.

This isn't the first time Mashima has worked on things for the Monster Hunter series. He has also worked on the Monster Hunter Orage manga for Capcom in the past, as well as designed costumes and a weapon for the Monster Hunter 4 Nintendo DS game.

Monster Hunter XX is an expanded version to the action RPG Monster Hunter X, featuring new characters, weapons, areas to explore, and of course new monsters. The game essentially revolves around the player assuming the role of a hunter, and the player goes on quests to hunt dangerous creatures.

The game is set to release in Japan on March 18, 2017 with a 5,800 yen price tag for retail. There is no official word from Capcom if it will see a North American release yet.
