When it comes to k-pop, BIGBANG reigns supreme. The group has been together for over a decade, and their energetic performances helped bring the infectious genre to the global stage. However, the idol group is heading towards a hiatus now as more of its members prepare to take on their enlistments.

So, naturally, G-Dragon has some things he wants to tell his fans. It's just a shame the speech will make every VIP out their bawl.

Over in South Korea, fans got an up-close look at G-Dragon and the farewell he sent to fans at the last BIGBANG concert (via AllKPop). The show "Livin' the Double Life" covered bits of the band's 'Last Dance' concert which took place in Seoul this year. It was the group's final concert before G-Dragon and Taeyang were due to enlist, and each member of BIGBANG shared a message with fans. However, it was G-Dragon's note that got fans tearing up.

The leader addressed fans quietly, saying, "Honestly, my mind is just blank right now. I'm not sure what to say exactly..."

"I don't have anything special to say.. I'm happy. It was happiness and all I can say is that I'm grateful," the rapper said before dropping his microphone and tearing up.

Taeyang had a message for all VIPs out there as well. "As you know, after this performance, we will not be able to meet you guys for a short or a long time depending on how you perceive it," the singer told the crowd.

"The reality is sad but, in a way, we will meet again later with improved, new sides, and a lot of indescribable thoughts are running through my mind. The times we spent together will always be a big encouragement to us during our military duty. Thank you so much and I love you."

According to reports, the BIGBANG members are slated to begin their mandatory enlistments this spring. G-Dragon and Taeyang are expected to finish their service in early 2020.
