One Piece has a long way to go with the 'Whole Cake Island' arc. The show only just reunited Luffy and Sanji after the pair's last big confrontation, but fans have something new to look forward to now. Anime designs for Charlotte Katakuri have been revealed, and they're as good as you would expect.

Honestly, Katakuri does not look like the kind of Sweet Commander you want a piece of.

The latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump revealed the baddie's official anime look. Fans were teased with his appearance in One Piece's latest opening, and these designs give Katakuri's full appearance.

As you can see above, the look does seem to be canon compliant with Eiichiro Oda's manga. Katakuri's massive scarf securely covers half of his face, and his bare torso reveals his washboard abs. The villain's eight pack is on proud display, and his black trousers match his short gloves. He can be seen holding his trident spear in this colorful design, and Katakuri's pants are also armed with various spikes.

So, the guy may not be as ostentatious as Donquixote Doflamingo, but he is still pretty intimidating. It is his eyes you got to worry about.

If you are not aware of Katakuri, then you have a lot to look forward to. The anime has only mentioned him in passing up until now, but he is the second son of Big Mom. As one of the three Sweet Commanders, Katakuri is very powerful and has a bounty of over one billion belly. The guy is over sixteen feet tall and has the Mochi Mochi no Mi gift thanks to his Devil Fruit. So, when Luffy finally comes face-to-face with the villain, you can see why the pair clash almost immediately.

Eiichiro Oda's One Piece first began serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997. It has been collected into 87 volumes, with a few chapters yet to be included. It has been a critical and commercial success worldwide with many of the volumes breaking printing records in Japan. The manga has even set a Guinness World Record for the most copies published for the same comic book by a single author, and is the best selling manga series worldwide with 430 million copies sold worldwide.
