Legends Of Tomorrow EP Teases Ultimate Bad Guy Team Up

Vandal Savage wasn't exactly a walk in the park, but the Legends of Tomorrow won't know what hit them when the receive their very own Legion of Doom later this year.

While the Invasion! storyline will be the big multi-show crossover this season, it isn't the only recipient of crossover synergy. Legends of Tomorrow will be the playing ground for a group of popular CW-universe villains including Damian Dahrk (Neal McDonough), Reverse Flash (Matt Letscher), Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), who was actually a part of the team last season until he died.

Through the magic of time travel, Miller will be back in a villainous role in the midseason finale, which will lead to the formation of the all-star villain group. Executive producer Greg Berlanti described the second half of the season to EW as "It's the ultimate bad guy team up. We just finished the script for an episode that we've been tentatively calling 'Legion of Doom' that's all from the bad guys' perspective."

Captain Cold isn't the only villain who will show differences from earlier portrayals, as McDonugh's Dahrk is a version from earlier in the timeline, and thus will be more of a loose cannon than the version fans saw in Arrow.

"Not having my wife at that point, and not knowing who my wife is -- I don't know that I'm going to get married, I don't know that I'm going to murder hundreds fo thousands of people, none of that stuff -- I don't want to say he's a little more evil, but I also don't have as much to fight for, so I'm more of a loose cannon, which is fun to play," McDonough said.

Based on the characters from DC Comics, DC's Legends of Tomorrow is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl), Marc Guggenheim (Arrow, Eli Stone, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters), Andrew Kreisberg (Arrow, The Flash, Eli Stone, Warehouse 13), Phil Klemmer (The Tomorrow People, Chuck), Chris Fedak (Forever, Chuck), and Sarah Schechter (Arrow, The Flash).

DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. "Compromised" will debut on November 10.
