The CW has released a promo for "Promises Kept," the upcoming sixth episode of Arrow's sixth season.

The episode will follow this week's closing scene in which Slade Wilson/Deathstroke (Manu Bennett) comes face to face with his long-lost son, Joe, who turns out to be the leader of a mercenary group.

As the promo shows, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will find himself in danger as Slade attempts to connect with Joe as Joe instructs Slade to take back what was taken from him -- in this case, a literal eye for an eye.

While not hinted at in the promo, the episode will also see Diggle (David Ramsey) and the rest of the team back in Star City face off against a villain stealing valuable tech -- "The Dragon." Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo) will make his debut in the episode as Arrow's take on the DC Comics villain Richard Dragon. Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim previously told ComicBook.com that the character will present a new kind of challenge for Team Arrow and is a villain much more rooted in reality.

"You know, what I really like about our interpretation of Richard is, he's very grounded," executive producer Marc Guggenheim said. "He's not a flamboyant big bad, he doesn't wear a costume, he really is a crimel ord sort of in the Tobias Church model. For Tobias we only really saw him for about five episodes, so we were excited about the prospect of doing a cool, gritty crime lord, but for a longer period of time. We've never really done that on the show before, so it's different."

Arrow airs Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW.
