Telltale Games just revealed that the entire first season of its Batman series will be coming to the Nintendo Switch next month! North American Switch owners will get the chance to dive into this brand new backstory and adventure on November 14.

Season one of Telltale's Batman consists of five episodes: Realm of Shadows, Children of Arkham, New World Order, Guardian of Gotham, and City of Light. The first season was met with generally positive reviews, though there were a a few technical difficulties out of the gate that we're hoping have been smoothed out by now. As for the game itself, like most of Telltale's outings, things start slow, but ramp up quickly. By the end of the second episode, you'll be left with huge cliff-hangers, and huge decisions that will directly impact how you experience the rest of the series. From the official description:

"Enter the fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne and discover the powerful and far-reaching consequences of your choices as the Dark Knight. In this gritty and violent new story from the award-winning creators of The Walking Dead – A Telltale Games Series, you'll make discoveries that will shatter Bruce Wayne's world, and the already fragile stability of a corrupt Gotham City. Your actions and your choices will determine the fate of the Batman."

We should point out, without spoiling anything outright, that even hardcore Batman fans have plenty to see in Telltale's story, and there are still plenty of surprises in store. Even his origin story has been given a pretty radical twist, and the fate of Bruce Wayne's father and parents will make you think about Batman in a completely new light. If you haven't already played and loved this series, we recommend checking it out on Switch next month!

We'll update you guys with impressions as soon as we're able.
