Destiny 2: Xur Location and Exotic Gear
We love Xur. He's a wonderful mixture of Where's Waldo and Santa Clause. Thankfully he's a little [...]
Graviton Lance
Graviton Lance is one of our favorite pulse rifles in the game, and is hands down one of the best looking (and best sounding) weapons in the game -- especially if you get the Particle Accelerator ornament! Let's check out the perks:
Black Hole
Third shot of a burst rips a hole through spacetime, doing high damage and recoil with no fall-off.
Hammer-Forged Rifling
- Durable ranged barrel.
- Increases range
Accurized Rounds
- This weapon can fire longer distances.
- Increases range
Cosmology
- Kills with this weapon cause enemy targets to detonate.
Fitted Stock
- This stock makes the weapon stable but heavy
- Increases stability
- Moderately controls recoil
- Slightly decreases handling speed
Hunter Armor: Young Ahamkara's Spine
Young Ahamkara's Spine is one of the coolest-looking pieces of Hunter armor in the game, but it's not the most useful piece of armor out there, unless you just really like marking your opponents. The main perk will make it easier to track opponents damaged by your Tripmine Grenade which, to be competely honest, is something you can do without in the Crucible. If you have spare legendary shards, maybe check this out to wear around the Tower, but leave it there.
Armor Perks:
Wish-Dragon Teeth
- Increases Tripmine Grenade duration and marks enemies damaged by the blast.
Mobility Enhancement Mod
- Increased Mobility
Plasteel Reinforcement Mod
- Increased Resilience.
Titan Armor: Mask of the Quiet One
This is a Void class piece of gear, so you hammer bros can probably just move on. The Mask of the Quiet one will grant a small bit of health regen whenever you get void ability kills, which is pretty useful, but less useful is the ability energy trigger. The mask will grant you melee, grenade, and class ability energy regen when you take damage, which makes it less than ideal for the Crucible since the energy regen isn't super significant.
Armor Perks:
Dreaded Visage
- Grants Melee, Grenade, and Class Ability energy when damaged. Void Ability kills grant health regeneration.
Mobility Enhancement Mod
- Increased Mobility
Restorative Mod
- Increased Health Recovery.
Warlock Armor: Nezarec's Sin
We hate this Warlock helmet because it looks so cool, but it's just so useless. It increases mobility, which very few Warlocks are going to stack, and the main perk isn't useful in the Crucible or in PvE. Still, you'll look like a baller while wearing it around the Tower.
Abyssal Extractors
- Void-damage kills increase ability energy recharge rate.
Mobility Enhancement Mod
- Increased Mobility
Restorative Mod
- Increased Health Recovery.
