One of the aspects that many players enjoyed in the first Destiny was that of the Heroic strikes. With Curse of Osiris and Season 2 on the horizon, there is a lot of new content planned for Guardians to enjoy within the Bungie sequel. During a recent livestream with the developer team, much of the highly anticipated content drops were revealed including the revelation of the old fan favourite making its triumphant return.

Bungie confirms that players will be able to enter the playlist and will be routed randomly to either one from the Destiny 2 base game, or one from the Curse of Osiris expansion. Both offer Legendary and Random drops to play for weekly, as well as the addition of the "Weekly Heroic Strike" milestone for players to track. It's not going to be a walk in the park, however.

The recommended power level for these strikes is set at 270+, though it's usually recommended to aim higher than that. With the power cap in total has been raised, it gives Guardians a reason to grind more to be the best. It will also be worth it because unlike the Nightfall strikes, there will be more of a choice when taking on the Heroic strikes.

Many Destiny 2 fans were begging for more content. Though the story was phenomenal and a huge step forward since the first installment, there were a few things cut that players missed and luckily - most of them are making a comeback. The MMO promises much more fun to be had and more seasons to come. To catch up on what else is in store for Season 2, check out our livestream coverage here.

Destiny 2 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC with Curse of Osiris slated for December 5th!
