Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is currently in development, and to hype fans up, a beautiful new introductory cinematic that sets up the campaign's storyline has been released. The Steam Early Access title is available to play now, but before you jump in, check out the impressive world that has been built for the game:

The story itself looks exciting enough, giving players the choice to either work together in groups or go it alone in the wild, futuristic world. Per the official listing: "The first Action-RPG set in the grim future of the 41st Millennium takes the genre to its next level: an open-world sandbox game with a persistent universe with a huge variety of missions, tactical, brutal combat encounters in destructible environments and a storyline influenced by the community of players. Use the cover system for tactical advantage, shoot off limbs and perform executions in epic boss battles and become a Protector of any solar systems with your glorious actions!"

While it's available in its incomplete version on Steam now, players and long-time fans can rest assured that, upon release, future updates will provide even more action and more to do for people who just can't get enough. The official Steam listing boasts an "ever-growing, long-lasting experience" for players with expansions and free, regular updates that will "introduce new enemy factions, new terrain settings, new missions and mission types, new story-driven investigations and new gameplay features." Releases will take place within seasons, which are described as "big, free updates that will introduce longer story arcs in which players can shape the persistent world of the Caligari sector with their actions." Players will have plenty of daily quests and goals to achieve as well, so there's plenty to do for everyone.

W40K: Inquisitor - Martyr is available as a Steam Early Access title now.
