Image EXCLUSIVE: Rumble #1 The Wicked + The Divine Variant By Jamie McKelvie And Matt Wilson

Image Comics has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive first look at Jamie McKelvie and Matt Wilson's The Wicked and the Divine variant cover for Rumble #1.

Six Image Comics series will receive The Wicked and Divine variant covers in December, created by The Wicked and the Divine's art team, and done in the style used for The Wicked and the Divine's covers. The variants for Shutter #7, East of West #16, and Bitch Planet #1 can be seen in our initial report.

Rumble #1 is written by John Arcudi, drawn by James Harren, and colored by Dave Stewart. The action/adventure fantasy series follows Rathraq, the recently returned Scarecrow Warrior God. Image says the series involves rundown dive bars, undead kitty cats, psycho skinheads, and giant mummies, and describes it as "Louis C.K. meets Robert E. Howard in a David Fincher universe."

Rumble #1 will hit stores on December 17. The issue's Diamond Code is OCT148179, and the final order cutoff deadline is Monday, 11/24, so preorder yours now.
