ABC Television has released a new television spot for their upcoming series Marvel's Agent of Carter, highlighting the show's strong sense of humor.

The spot features a montage of Agent Peggy Carter completing various missions in a post-World War II New York City. As Agent Carter fulfills her duties for S.H.I.E.L.D., it also seems that she'll combat peoples' gross underestimations of her. With light-hearted action and humor comprising a majority of the television spot, it seems that Agent of Carter will have a much lighter tone than its sister title, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Marvel's Agent Carter follow S.H.I.E.L.D. co-founder Peggy Carter as she kickstarts the international spy organization into existence, while also embarking on her own personal missions. The series will continue Carter's story following the end of Captain America: The First Avenger and fill the gaps between the WWII and modern eras of Marvel's Cinematic Universe. The series will air as an eight-part miniseries while Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. takes its midseason break.

Marvel's Agent Carter debuts on January 6th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
