Rumors of Colossus’ inclusion in the Deadpool movie sprung from the announcement that Gina Carano was joining the cast of Deadpool as the Morlock called Angel Dust. The reports almost offhandedly mentioned that Colossus would be in the film, but did say if Cudmore would be playing him.
Cudmore not appearing will leave fans to wonder if this means Colossus has been cut from the film, perhaps replaced with another character, or if he’s simply being recast.
Deadpool opens February 12, 2016.
