Today is Ben Affleck's Birthday.

As an accomplished actor, writer, and director, Ben Affleck is one of the most popular men working in Hollywood today. He is the next actor in line to play Batman, and will first wear the cape and cowl in 2016's Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. He will then star in Justice League Part One and Justice League Part Two, and is rumored to anchor a new Batman trilogy.

Of course, Batman isn't Affleck's first comic book character. He first played Daredevil in the 2003 Daredevil film, and former Superman actor George Reeves in Hollywoodland. His other notable roles include The Town, Argo, and Gone Girl.

Born in Berkeley, California, Affleck turns 43 today. Happy Birthday, Ben Affleck!
