The attractions have been closed and preparations are underway: Star Wars Land is coming! After officially closing down sections of Disneyland, the actual work can begin in creating the all-new addition to the park, centered solely on the galaxy far, far away.

MakingStarWars.net has received new tips on what will be at the park, but cautions to consider these rumors. According to their tips, the Millennium Falcon won’t be the only vehicle on display at the park. Not exactly a surprise on its own, but they say at one of the entrances, Poe Dameron’s black X-wing from Star Wars: The Force Awakens will sit on display.
Many of their rumored details include new characters from Star Wars: Episode VIII, which just yesterday was pushed back to December 2017. The tipster was unsure on whether any Rogue One characters or elements were being planned for the parks, though.
As for the Millennium Falcon, one of the few officially released pieces of information is about the ride that will put you at the controls of the vehicle in a Star Wars mission. There will be a full, life-sized Falcon, similar to what was seen in the initial concept art. The bay door of the vehicle will open and close, with stormtroopers monitoring the vessel. It doesn’t sound like this full-scale model will be an attraction itself, allowing fans to explore the inside physically, though.
No exact timeline has been released for the opening of the park, though construction will be underway at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios this year.
