Even though Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World received an 81% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the film was a box office disappointment, opening in fifth-place at the North American box office and finishing its global run with just $47.7 million. However, like with Wright’s other films, such as Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. The World gets better the more times you see it, and with each passing year, it continues to gain new fans.
Last night, Channel 4, a British public-service television broadcaster, aired Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and Wright encouraged his Twitter followers to tune in as he live-tweeted it, rewarding them with new behind-the-scenes information.
