Suicide Squad director David Ayer is celebrating a new milestone for his DC Extended Universe supervillain film.

Ayer reports that Suicide Squad has passed $700 million at the worldwide box office.

Ayer celebrated with a Tweet thanking everyone who has supported him and Suicide Squad.

Last week, Suicide Squad earned a spot on the list of top 100 highest grossing movies of all time at the worldwide box office. Suicide Squad was also named one of the five most profitable summer movies of 2016.

Suicide Squad has now reached $307 million at the domestic box office. Ayer previously thanked fans when the film hit the $300 million domestic mark, and before that he thanked fans following the film’s record-breaking opening weekend.
