The studio is hard at work on The LEGO Batman Movie, the spinoff based on the LEGO version of Batman introduced in The LEGO Movie and voiced by Will Arnett.

To mark this special Batman Day occasion, Warner Bros. Animation has released a new The LEGO Batman Movie poster. The poster shows Batman springing into action and reminds fans to always be themselves…unless they can be batman.

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble โ€“ LEGO Batman โ€“ stars in his own big-screen adventure: The LEGO Batman Movie. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

The LEGO Batman Movie is directed by Chris McKay and written by Seth Grahame-Smith, and is set in the same universe as The LEGO Movie. The voice cast includes stars the voices of Will Arnett as Batman, Zach Galifianakis as the Joker, Michael Cera as Robin, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, and Mariah Carey as the Mayor of Gotham City. The LEGO Movie directors Christopher Miller and Phil Lord are producing.

The LEGO Batman Movie opens in theaters Feb. 10, 2017.
