We all know that Vin Diesel is the voices behind Groot (and baby Groot), the tree-like monster with super strong branches from James Gunn’s Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise.

In a recent interview with Vin Diesel at Comic Con Experience in Sao Paolo, Brazil this past weekend, Roth Cornet asked him about his favorite character, Groot.
“I know that somewhere in the universe you’re going to see Groot and Hulk battle, I know it! Write it down somewhere, you’re going to see that posted…Groot versus Hulk.”
While Diesel didn’t give any more specific information on the subject, we’re almost positive that Hulk won’t be showing up in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2.
Speaking toThe Playlist, Gunn completely washed his hands of the Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel Hulk rumor before it even started filming:
“I can answer that question very easily: it is absolute, 100% bullshit. It feels like a great relief to finally say this after all the dumb stuff on the Internet. There’s not going to be a Planet Hulk movie, there was never going to be a Planet Hulk movie, there was never a plan for the Hulk to team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy โ I wouldn’t want the Hulk to team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy! And it’s all a bunch of complete bullshit.”
The next logical guess would be Avengers: Infinity War which Guardians of the Galaxy members are already confirmed for.
