That is especially true if you happen to be Superman, or in Henry Cavill’s case, play him in DC’s Cinematic Universe. The actor recently shared a picture of his Christmas tree escapees on Instagram, and he apparently was looking for a more imposing Christmas tree.
Hopefully, once its got some lights, ornaments, and garland on it the tree will be up to Cavill’s high standards.
Cavill has already wrapped shooting for his reprisal of Superman in Justice League, though it remains to be seen how he makes it back to the land of the living. He’s been featured on the primary art for the film, but he was not present in the Justice League footage seen at San Diego Comic-Con.
In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroesโBatman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flashโit may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarรกn Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg.
