The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln Would Love To Appear On Star Trek: Discovery

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE WALKING DEAD SEASON SEVEN FINALE!

Rick’s family is down one more member now, as Sasha sacrificed herself for the group in the latest episode of The Walking Dead.

On Talking Dead, and all over social media, the cast and crew of the show have been talking about how much they’ve loved working with Sonequa Martin-Green during her time on the show, and how much she will be missed.

According to Andrew Lincoln, he isn’t ready to stop working beside his good friend.

While speaking with Variety, regarding Martin-Green’s new leading role on Star Trek: Discovery, Lincoln said he’d love to appear on the upcoming sci-fi show.

“She’s an incredible personality with incredible grace and strength and tenacity,” Lincoln said. “She’s a very impressive woman. She will be leading that starship with the same class and fortitude. That is going to be one happy spaceship. I’d love to beam myself up at some point in some kind of Greg Nicotero special effects makeup.”

The interviewer followed up the suggestion by asking Lincoln if he was actually going to put on some makeup and appear in the new show, he replied, “No spoilers.”

Lincoln may not have already been a big Star Trek fan, but the opportunity to work with Sonequa Martin-Green again would be too good to pass up. Just think about how epic it would be to watch Sasha and Alien-Rick fighting together in the Final Frontier?
