Despite reports that Phil Lord and Chris Miller parted ways with the Han Solo spin-off film for taking it in too comedic of a direction, new director Ron Howard seems to be following in their footsteps, but preferring to goof around on Twitter than on set. In his latest cryptic hint of the film, Howard posted a photo of hanging garments, asking his followers who the clothes might belong to.

With Han Solo himself often opting for more practical pieces of clothing than anything that might make a statement or could make him stand out, the colorful clothing most likely doesn’t belong to him.

Lando Calrissian has been known as one of the most stylish gamblers in a galaxy far, far away, so the odds would point towards Donald Glover’s character being the owner of the attractive ensembles. However, considering many people might assume the clothes belong to Lando, Howard might have thrown everyone a curveball intentionally, with the clothes belonging to someone completely unexpected.
The latest photo is just one of many attempts from Howard to tease and troll his followers, regularly showing glimpses of mundane items on set, ranging from trash cans to bottles of water.

When the film is eventually released, it’s possible all these clues could add up to some genuinely revealing information, but most likely, Howard just wants to let fans know how excited he is to be involved in the project.
The untitled Han Solo film is slated to hit theaters May 25, 2018.
The Han Solo movie is being produced by Lucasfilm from a screenplay by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the second standalone Star Wars movie following Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in 2016.
Set prior to the events of Han Solo’s first appearance in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, the film stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Joonas Suotamo. The film is said to show how Han Solo and Chewbacca, first met Lando Calrissian, played by Glover.
Filming on the Han Solo movie began in January 2017 with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller directing. Principal photography began at Pinewood Studios in February. Lord and Miller left the Han Solo movie in June, having reportedly been fired over creative differences. Ron Howard will come on as the director to see the production to completion.
