Responding to a fan’s questions by saying that Shazam doesn’t care about “no punk ass kryptonite,” Sandberg went on to throw shade at Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice โ a DCEU that was widely panned by critics and fans alike.
“Shazam don’t have no mama named Martha,” Sandberg joked. “So the whoopin’ aint stopping once it gets going.”

Of course, the tweet was presumably meant as a joke, but it’s still fun to see the competition fiery between the separate DCEU projects.
Shazam! is reportedly looking to begin filming in January or Febuary of next year aiming for a release in 2019.
