When you think of Attack on Titan, a few faces will come to mind. Eren Jaeger will no doubt pop up, and a hoard of gruesome Titans will also make an appearance. For many, there favorite member of the Survey Corps will be the first thing to pop up, and Captain Levi will be that character for thousands of fans. The stoic, all-powerful soldier quickly became a favorite on Attack on Titan. And, in light of the anime‘s upcoming comeback, an animator on the show is sharing some stunning artwork of the character.

UP NEXT: Attack On Titan Season 2 Gets An Official Release Date
On Twitter, Arifumi Imai shared a picture of Captain Levi framed by moonlight. The black-and-white image shows the soldier standing atop a tree in his military garb. With his cloak whipping in the wind, Levi is seen carrying his maneuvering gear while a night scene is shown behind him.
This is not the only artwork that Imai has shared with fans leading up to Attack on Titan’s second season. Earlier this month, the artist shared images of Eren, Mikasa, and more.

If you are not familiar with Attack on Titan, then you should know the popular anime is renowned for its intense action and gritty storylines. The anime follows a boy named Eren Yeager in an alternate world overrun by massive creatures known as Titans. These mindless beasts have all but wiped out humanity, and mankind is left to cower in fear behind massive walls. When their sanctum is infiltrated by a slew of Titans, Eren and his friends Armin and Mikasa join the military to help eradicate the blood-thirty monsters. But, as they grow older, they learn that the beasts are not what they appear as long-held government conspiracies make themselves known.
