Anime Creator Redraws Sons’ Artwork To Make Awesome Original Characters

Kid’s imaginations are amazing, they think of things with no limits or fear of failure. So what happens when you combine creative imaginations with a father’s professional art skills? You get awesome original anime characters!

Thomas Romain, anime artist and creator, has been sharing his artistic skill combined with his two young boys’ imaginations. It seems that the boys enjoy making art with their father, and he loves seeing the clever new ideas to come from their minds.

Romain’s sons sketch out a concept of a character, then the older son adds special skills and abilities to that the character. Then he takes the concepts and abilities and polishes them into a full character illustration, and each one is worthy of a show.

He credits his kids’ for being the key to the creative process because without their ideas, none of the awesome collaboration is possible. It is really cool to see how the concepts have developed over time, seeing the boys grow and add more detail to the characters.
